We had a big snowstorm this weekend. Normally that wouldn’t bother me but the following picture – which was in today’s Newsday in the blizzard coverage – shows that we won’t be bowling again this season in Smithtown.
Not only is that the bowling alley we had league at this year but the collapsed roof is over the side of the alley that the league bowled on.
Update 1 – 2013-02-11
- So one of the other league officers got a phone call from the AMF district manager and they were ok with us moving to Centerreach. We contacted the team captains and the league has now folded.
